Good Newwz posters: Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kareena Kapoor are headed for Christmas goof-up

first_imgSince its announcement, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s upcoming film Good Newwz has been making headlines for its tagline – “the biggest goof-up of the year.” This, along with the fact that the film revolves around surrogacy, makes the plotline rather promising. And now, Akshay Kumar has revealed three posters of the much-awaited film on social media. The posters feature the stellar cast of Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh.Akshay took to Twitter to unveil the posters of the Raj Mehta directorial venture, Good Newwz.”The goof-ups are bound to multiply…and that’s how you get, #GoodNewwz! Kareena is dressed in a blue bodycon dress and Kiara has paired a blue denim jacket with a green top and jeans. While Kiara is sporting a sindoor, Kareena isn’t.Akshay is wearing a black tee and Diljit is seen in a yellow sweatshirt, turban and a pair of red sunglasses. While the poster looks quirky enough, Akshay’s expressions are grabbing our eyeballs the most.Before unveiling the main poster, Akshay also shared two separate ones with his fans on Twitter. The makers have not disclosed much about the film’s storyline, in order to keep the curiosity alive.Good Newwz, which was earlier scheduled to be released on September 6, will now hit the screens on December 27 this year.Akshay and Kareena were last seen in 2015 film Gabbar Is Back. While Akshay played the lead, Kareena had a cameo in it. Before Gabbar Is Back, they shared screen space in several films including Ajnabee, Kambakkht Ishq, Tashan, Bewafaa, Aitraaz to name a few.Kareena has also worked with Diljit in Abhishek Chaubey’s 2016 film Udta Punjab. However, for Kiara and Diljit, Good Newwz is their first film together. Akshay and Kiara will also share screen space for the first time in film Good Newwz. After this, Akshay and Kiara will be seen in Raghava Lawrence’s directorial venture Laxmmi Bomb.As far the posters go, the makers of Good Newwz have opted for the perfect day to start promoting their film.
