Hats, mittens, scarves wanted for local donation drive

This is the seventh year that they’ve done this type of drive.“Just a heartwarming thing to be apart of it,” said Banner Realty’s Margie Haaxma.”I know there is lots of things going on, and many people are giving of themselves more so in this community than many, and we’re totally blessed to apart of the community.”You can drop off your items now until December 14th from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. You can also stop by on Saturdays from 9:00 am until 3:00 p.m. The company will be doing raffle drawings for donations with three great items.A number of other events are happening that benefit the Salvation Army. Michigan State Police’s ‘Stuff A Blue Goose’ takes place Saturday. Wal–Mart has angel trees where folks can pick a tag. That tag has items needed for a person.
