Best phones under 10,000 – Advertisement – The Realme Narzo 10A can be seen as a replacement for the Realme C3 because these two smartphones share a lot of hardware, with the exception of a fresh design, macro camera, and fingerprint sensor on the Narzo 10A. This phone sports a 6.5-inch display with HD+ resolution and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G70 SoC. There are two variants of the Narzo 10A, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage priced at Rs. 8,999, and the other with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which costs Rs. 9,999.The Narzo 10A packs in a 5,000mAh battery and offers good battery life. It has a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 12-megapixel primary camera, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 5-megapixel selfie camera. The Redmi 9 sports a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a dewdrop notch at the top.Xiaomi has picked the MediaTek Helio G35 processor to power the Redmi 9, and has paired it with 4GB of RAM. While charging is a little slow, battery life is quite good and you should be able to go beyond a day with regular use. The Redmi 9 runs Android 10 with MIUI 12 on top. There is a fair amount of bloatware on the smartphone and we did encounter spammy notifications while using it.The Redmi 9 has a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Redmi 9 is capable of handling day-to-day tasks, but heavy games may not run very smoothly. Sep 4, 2009Britain scales back flu death projectionThe British government scaled back its projection of how many novel H1N1 deaths could occur, The Times of London reported today. In July it predicted 65,000 fatalities in a worst-case-scenario, but now the National Health Service (NHS) says fatalities could range between 3,000 and 19,000. Officials lowered the estimate because the symptoms of the virus are mild for most patients. The NHS’s chief medical officer said case numbers have not risen in Scotland, where school resumed 3 weeks ago.http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/uk/health/Swine_flu/article6820841.eceSep 4 Times storyTiered epidemic plans could improve responseResponses to the novel H1N1 virus outbreak might be seen as alarmist, because many pandemic plans accounted for only a worst-case scenario, Peter Doshi, a doctoral student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology wrote in the British Medical Journal yesterday. Calibrated responses based on four types of risk assessments that take into account disease distribution and severity could build public trust and engage the public’s attention to warning messages, he wrote.http://www.eurekalert.org/pub_releases/2009-09/bmj-wtp090309.phpSep 3 British Medical Journal press releaseUninsured New Jersey residents to get free pandemic flu vaccineIn announcing new measures to curb the fall wave of pandemic flu, New Jersey officials said yesterday that the state will provide free novel H1N1 vaccine to the 1.3 million uninsured people. Other response measures include a public education campaign, working with school districts to keep schools open, and partnering with districts to establish a voluntary vaccination program.Lung tissue in some fatal cases resembles H5N1 infectionPathologic investigation of lung tissue from patients who have died of pandemic H1N1 infections resembles that in those dying from H5N1 avian influenza, a scientist who has studied about 70 fatal cases told the Canadian Press. About a third of the patients had bacterial coinfections, and about 90% had underlying conditions such as obesity.Doctors reverse severe infection with experimental IV antiviralA 22-year-old woman with pandemic H1N1 infection and chemotherapy-induced immune compromise recovered from a severe infection after treatment with an experimental intravenous version of zanamivir, her doctors reported today in The Lancet. (Washington, DC) — We are four months away from the 2020 Presidential election and the current president still has not gotten more than one hundred appointments past Congress. Many of whom are instrumental in helping the country handle the COVID-19 outbreak.Yesterday, President Trump said he has the authority to force Congress to adjourn so he can make the crucial appointments. In a White House briefing, Trump urged the Senate to stop gaveling-in pro-forma sessions when lawmakers aren’t in town. That would allow him to make recess appointments without those officials being approved by the Senate. Trump railed against the “partisan” obstructionism he said had held up 129 appointments who could all be helping in the coronavirus response.“It’s always roadblocks or a waste of time,” he said. “If the House will not agree to that adjournment, I will exercise my constitutional authority to adjourn both chambers of Congress.”“The current practice of leaving town while conducting phony pro forma sessions is a dereliction of duty that the American people cannot afford during this crisis,” he said.“It is a scam what they do,” Trump said.Pres.
